While living in Majorca in his own private property a great loss to music and the island of Majorca with this tragic death.
Ola Brunkert ex Abba star now aged 61 was found dead at his Majorca home last Sunday by a property owner from next door he was sadden at his death. The former drummer with the Swedish  1960 pop group Abba was found in his private garden lying in a pool of blood with cuts to his upper neck which resulted in his death he seemed to have died a short while  before his body was discovered. The neighbour said he had seen the retired pop star just days before in his garden which he regarded as his private and special space.

Brunkert,the ex Abba celebrity who lived on his own following the recent death of his lovely wife, is believed to have died accidentally after  falling through a glass window of the down stairs part of his private property on the island of Majorca. this death is a loss to the music industry and the pop scene.

A close friend Benny Andersson has described the event as sad and unfair for the ex Abba star to depart like this. I remember him as a very good friend when we worked together in the mid 1970s." his death is such a loss he will be missed by many around Europe who support his 1970 Abba musical  contribution over the years.Private  tributes were sent to Abba fan club via www.mallorca.uk.com as many owners had read of his sad departing from the beautiful island of Majorca Spain a private service has been held.
